Keeping large fish, selects for smaller fish


A recent article on Phys.Org found that catching and keeping larger fish, not surprisingly means that smaller fish are therefore selected for reproduction. The article posits that a catch window -- where you keep fish only of a certain minimum size and below a maximum size -- would reduce the selection pressure towards smaller fish.
